Offline Users: Patch or No Patch?

To those of you that play offline, Do you have the patch installed or not? I don't remember if they fixed anything that would affect me if I play online offline. Feedback...

Deleted. But will add the patch once all my fighters are complete. I have a couple friends who play online and they are not aware of post/pre patch so it doesn't effect them. One just wants to get good at the game and the other just wants the achievements.
I couldn't go and do the career knowing that I'd only get 50 points max per sparring session. Considering without patch I'm getting 456 points per sparring session.

I don't use the patch because I read what it does to career mode. I did install the patch once to check out the online though, and I hated it, so I deleted the patch and I'm back to making CAF's.

I have one profile with no patch and one XBL profile with the patch
