Why is Antonio Silva and Fabricio Werdum not in the game from what ive seen ???

werdum is in the game as of right now silva has not been confirmed from the game which i think is pretty bad seein as how almost all of strikeforce is in this and they left him out.

Well Bro, theres this thing called CONTRACTS that all fighters have to sign. These contracts have certain agreements & obligations that both parties have to abide by.

Zuffa makes a certain group of fighters give up their lifetime likeness rights for video games. In this contract its agreed that the only video game you are able to be featured in has to be a Zuffa owned game.

Not every fighter has the leverage to negotiate with Zuffa on that issue as we saw with jon fitch. While other fighters have the leverage where they can negotiate & reach a non excluse compromise like Dan Henderson, Andrei Arvloski, Frabrico Werdum, Tim Sylvia. Those were Big assets for the UFC & zuffa wouldnt cut those guys like they did fitch.

thank you for clearing that up. so if for guys like fitch and others that signed over the lives if they leave the ufc at any point they cant go into another game at all. but im confused on the fact that arlovski, werdum and trigg r in both games. i kno trigg signed on to eamma b4 he got wit the ufc but y r arlovski and werdum in both games if both of them havent fought for the ufc in over a year now. thats the part that gets me.

Zuffa still owns their likeness rights but they arent exclusive. So Arvloski & Werdum can be featured in both games because those rights arent exclusive.
